“To whom it may concern:
Each summer I conduct a resident golf camp in California for junior
golfers from all across the country. The camp offers the highest quality
instruction of any similar program in the United States, and this is due
primarily to our outstanding teaching staff.
Rick Metrick has served on our staff this year, and I have found that
his knowledge of the game and his ability to teach, supervise, and
communicate with youngsters has proven to be a very definite factor in
the success of the camp. I believe he would be an asset to any
organization which has the challenge of teaching young people.

“Rick
I don’t know if you remember me or not but you gave me a lesson back in
September while we were out there with our club pro for the National
Club Pro Championship at La Quinta.
I just wanted to let you know you changed my entire golfing life (at the
tender age of 40) and I really feel like I’m swinging at the ball
correctly for the first time ever. Even with the little time I’ve had to
work on it since September, I’m already scoring in the high 70’s again
and am really looking forward to this summer when I can devote some time
and attention to making the new swing muscle memory. I still have an
occasional “rock and block” glitch creep in on the course!
Thanks again,
George Stevens.”
"Dear Roger:
I enjoyed my recent stay at the U.S. Golf Academy. The accomodations and
food were very good and the instructions from Rick were superb.
My only suggestion is a simple one that I feel would assist all of your
pupils. Consider installing targets on the practice range so that when
hitting
balls it can be easily determined how far and accurately they are being
hit. This would particularly help within the 150 yard range.
Very truly,
